STAR
ZEE FREE 531866 (Free Zee x Shadow Bay Free) 14.3 HH, 4/19/96 Bay Gelding. Star, faint snip, both hind fetlocks. Star Zee Free is a grandson of both our foundation mares, Miss Bay Bee and Fae Farwa. He has that incredible “people horse” attitude so dominate in this family of Freeman Arabians. In addition to his disposition, Star Zee has the conformation and athletic ability to be a top performance horse. Star Zee has a solid "Working Arabian" pedigree with *Witez II and Abu Farwa on the top, Bay-Abi+ and Ferzon on the bottom. Star Zee’s grandsires are the fantastic cutting stallion and sire Xenophonn (known as the "Doc Bar of Arabians"), and BF Triumph, a son of Gai-Parada that was halter and performance champion at the National Level. Bred for performance and beauty, this boy is a real sweetheart. In the left photo, Kara Taylor is taking Star Zee for his first ride. He is eager to learn and makes an extra effort to please. Star Zee now is fully trained as a working ranch horse and has had lots of experience in pleasure trail riding. If we don't sell him, Star Zee will be our next “Kid’s Horse”. $5,000

MO
JO FREE 563445 (Hucks Premier V x Dawn Free) 4/25/99 Bay Gelding Star, strip, snip, upper lip, lower lip. Right front coronet, left front pastern, both hind stockings. (Weanling Photo) “Joe” is linebred to Sheila Varian’s foundation sire, Bay-Abi+. He carries three close lines to this wonderful stallion through both his sire and his dam. Joe's pedigree also contains the blood of Ferzon, *Raffles, *Raseyn and Rabiyas, just to name a few of his great family. We bred Joe to be a performance horse and a breeding stallion. Unfortunately, we did not have room for more stallions and the decision to geld Joe was made on May 21, 2001. Joe is currently in training with Wade Allred. Joe is headed for the Reining Show Arena. His first NRHA show will this summer. Read more about Mo Jo Free on our "Bay Boys" Page. $4,500

WITEZ
FREE 577262 (Serya Raven x WitezaQuatraCroce) 5/23/2000 Black-Bay Gelding. Left hind partial pastern and right front partial coronet are the only white on him. Bred to be our stallion to carry on our *Witez II
Preservation program,Witez
Free is linebred to *Witez II, carrying 8 very close lines for a
total
of 39% *Witez II in his pedigree.
Unfortunately, this tight linebreeding to *Witez II resulted in a very
small horse, just over 14.HH tall, not appropriate for a breeding
stallion in our program. Witez is typy with correct conformation. He has an
old injury (as a yearling) to his right hind coronary band which has
caused damage to his hoof. He has always been sound and has never
been shod. Witez is not trained under saddle, we simply have not
had the time nor resources to get him under saddle. He is very
gentle and will not be hard to train. $1,000

SERYA
JAYTEZ 606011(Serya Raven x Serya Yesnangyl) 14.3 HH, 5/18/2003 Bay Gelding. Star, left hind fetlock. The best way to describe Jaytez is "Smooth". Everything about him flows together beatifully. Excellent conformation, amazing legs and feet. Hooves wear almost perfectly, needing very little maintenance. Jaytez has 120 days of professional training. Has been on cattle but really enjoys traveling across miles of open country. Great prospect for Competitive Trail or Endurance riding. "Green broke", ready to go with an experienced rider. Jaytez was purchased as a stallion prospect when he was a yearling. He was gelded in 2006 as we have decided to cut back on our breeding program. We will not be breeding enough mares to justify keeping a stallion. He is 21% *Witez II breeding and should make a terrific performance horse. He is pretty enough to show at halter. $3,000

RAIN DANCER FREE 483094(BF Triumph x Ofir Mistala) 05/20/1992 Bright Chestnut Mare. Connected star, strip and snip (not quite wide enough to be called a blaze). Left front fetlock, right hind inside coronary band. Both hooves with white above them are parti-colored (striped). We bred and raised Dancer and sold her a a 2-year-old. Dancer was professionally trained and shown in small local shows at western pleasure where she did pretty well. Her primary job was working ranch horse. She has worked cattle, showing a real ability as a cutting horse. Dancer was the mount of choice for novice riders on long trail rides in the high mountains of northwest Wyoming. When we lost her dam in 1999, we purchased Dancer and brought her back home. Dancer is a proven broodmare, having 3 foals (2 for us). She is an easy breeder and a very good mother. As a valued member of our broodmare band Dancer has not been ridden regularly for the past 8 years. She has no vices, is very easy to trailer and great to work with her feet. Bella Roja Free (below) is Dancer's most recent foal, and her only filly. $3,500

BELLA ROJA FREE 620055(Serya Raven x Rain Dancer Free) 05/02/2005 Bright Chestnut, flaxen mane, no white markings. Beautiful classic Arabian filly. Very athletic with typical western moves. Does natural roll backs. Keeps her head low and really puts her hind end into the ground. A great reining prospect and might be a cutting horse. (We do not own any cattle so we don't know if she is "cowy".) If we sell her dam (above) we will keep Bella as her replacement in our breeding program. $10,000 |
