| Beau
Free
Beau is a very special horse in our lives and in the community where we live. When you visit these pages and you to will love this "Gift from God" The Littlest Angel - Beau Free by Anna Freeman (with permission of Arabian Horse Interactive) Shortly after Beau recovered from his mysterious illness we began visiting the local nursing home. Here are three pages of photos taken during his visits. Beau's First Visit - Photos by Betty McFarland Only three photos that were taken by the nursing home Activities Director. Beau's Second Visit - Photos by Ed Freeman On our second visit we brought our digital camera. Here is a pictorial story of that visit. Beau's Third Visit - Photos by Ed Freeman Photos of Beau visiting his friends on his third, and as it turned out, his last visit to the Walbridge Wing Nursing Home. Another big page of photos. |
| Niga
Free
If Niga Free had never done anything more that sire Beau Free, that would have been enough. Not one to be outdone, Niga has made a name for himself in a very unusual way for an Arabian of the '90s. He is an accomplished roping horse! He is also a top pleasure trail horse and is my long awaited replacement for my deceased gelding, Pia Taurus. Here are a series of photos that were taken in Wyoming while Niga was in training. Disposition Anyone? - Photos by Kathy Brower This is a breeding stallion in a very unfamiliar environment Niga's First Calf - Photos by John Brower Look Mom, no fences! - These cattle are run on hundreds of acres of open range. These photos were taken of Niga's first and second calves that he roped. Photos were taken on different days. Niga's First Branding - Photos by Kathy Brower Branding is noisy, hot and dirty work. It takes a steady horse with lots of patience and nerves of steel. Niga has been gelded because we decided to keep him as one of our saddle horses. He is either a full or half brother to most of our young mares. Niga is much more valuable to us as a gelding. |
