HOW ABOUT THIS DISPOSITION?

John rode Niga up next to this calf and simpy reached down, picked it up and laid it across the front of the saddle.

Looks like Niga is taking a little nap while awaiting his turn to take his calf to a branding team.

Kathy took this photo to show the crowded conditions everyone was working in.  Vet supplies are on the tailgait of the pickup.  The smoke is so thick it makes Niga appear to be a bay.  The branding fires are actually propane gas blow torches which make a lot of noise.  Niga took everything in stride.  Only the people who were very familiar with the Brower horses knew that Niga was a stallion.  The majority of the people working the branding had no idea that he was a stallion as his behavior was that of a seasoned working gelding, not a five year old colt with only six months of training.

GOOD BOY!
REMEMBER, when all these photos were taken, Niga was a breeding stallion.  This bay mare slipped her tie and decided she wanted to get aquainted with Niga.  She was in FULL STANDING HEAT! The only reaction Niga gave her was a low soft "chuckle" when John reached for her reins in order to lead her back to her rider.
