MO JO FREE (a.k.a. Joe) is currently in training with Wade Allred with a show career in reining as our goal. Photos taken April 19, 2008. The idea was to put the buffalo into a smaller adjoining pen so we could see what progress Joe has made in his training as a future reining horse. The buffalo had a different idea and were not cooperating. Shortly after the photo on the right was taken, 3 of the 6 buffalo went through the fence panels. In the photo on the left, Joe and Wade are watching the buffalo head for the river. For the next 45 minutes Joe and Wade rounded up the buffalo (the remaining 3 buffalo had gone through open gates and joined the others) and ultimately, they brought all 6 of the buffalo back into the arena. Their only assistance was from a person on the ground working the gates. We saw a very impressive demonstration of the caliber of training that Wade puts into his horses, and the adaptability of Joe to unusual situations.

We are offering Joe FOR SALE. Joe has a wonderful disposition and willing attitude. His formal training was delayed because we had other horses that required more attention. Joe, being such an easygoing fella and very easy to have around, was put at the end of our prioity list. It is now Joe's turn to show what he can do, and he is even better that we ever expected. Joe is very smart and willing to try anything. He is already showing real talent and is very athletic. Joe could have a career as a Western Pleasure horse in the show ring. He already is a great companion and pleasure trail horse.

SERYA JAYTEZ is a beautiful 5 year old gelding with show ring conformation and endurance or competetive trail potential. He loves to travel across open country. Jaytez is green broke under western saddle with 4 months of professional training. See more about Jaytez on our FOR SALE page.
